Grand Island Contract Carriers Honored
Grand Island Contract Carriers has been honored as one of the safest flatbed carriers of it’s size in the country.
It won second place in the flatbed, line-haul division in the category for up to 10 million miles.
GICC won the award as part of the American Trucking Association’s National Truck and Industrial Safety Contests. Grand Island Contract Carriers was honored during the awards luncheon at the ATA Safety Management Council’s Safety and Human Resources National Conference and Exhibition in Baltimore.
The ATA National Truck and Industrial Safety Contests have been conducted annually for more than 50 years.

Nebraska Trucking Association Gives Award
Companies and individuals with ties to Central Nebraska were honored at the Nebraska Trucking Association’s award ceremony on October 2 in Lincoln.
Grand Island Contract Carriers was honored for having no accidents in the Nebraska Trucking Fleet Safety Contest year.
The Nebraska Trucking Association is the statewide trade association for commercial truck and bus companies.
